British Airways has announced that from 2023 it will begin flights to Aruba and Guyana with a new direct route to Trinidad and Tobago.
The new routes will bring the total number of Caribbean destinations served by British Airways to 17, the airline said in a press release.
The airline, which is the biggest UK carrier to the Caribbean, will fly from Trinidad (POS) to London Gatwick (LGW), beginning March 26. Flights will operate three times per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
The route was formerly via St Lucia.
Flights from Oranjestad, Aruba to London will operate twice weekly from March 26, via Antigua.
Flights from Georgetown, Guyana to London will operate twice weekly from March 27 via St Lucia.
Departing to and from London Gatwick (LGW), flights will operate on the Boeing 777-200 aircraft and are available for customers to book now.
