Trinidad and Tobago cyclist Justin Boynes finished in sixth place in the juniors category at the Caribbean Mountain Bike Championships in the Dominican Republic on Sunday.
Boynes was competing in his first international cycling competition and the Trinidad and Tobago Cycling Federation offered congratulations on his performance.
The teenager was accompanied by his father and manager, Ronald Boynes.
Boynes won the Boys 11-12 Triathlon at the Caribbean Cross Training Multi-Sport Festival in December 2016 at Store Bay, Tobago.
He was also second at the National Duathlon Dash in July 2019.
Boynes was also part of the Trinidad and Tobago triathlon team at the 2019 Games, competing in the 13-15 category in aquathlon and triathlon races.
