Police are investigating the shooting death of an Arima businessman over the weekend.
Loop News was told the 32-year-old Luke Dalipsingh, who operates his minimart at his home in Arima, was at the location on Sunday morning when a white vehicle pulled up alongside him.
Police were told that a man, wearing a hoodie, face mask, and a cap, got out of the vehicle, allegedly approached Dalipsingh and shot him in the head.
Police said the suspect then returned to the vehicle and drove off.
The police and paramedics were notified, however, Dalipsingh succumbed to his wounds.
Part of the incident was captured on CCTV cameras and uploaded to social media sites.
