Sunday, October 9, 2022, marked the return of Air Canada’s weekly nonstop service from Toronto (YYZ) to Saint Lucia (UVF).

This service will provide Canadians with more viable options to explore our beautiful island. Canada is one of our main source markets, adding to our growth and tourism product.

In November 2022, Air Canada will increase its flight frequency to (4) weekly flights (Mon/Wed/Thurs/Fri) until December 9th. Additional flights will be added to the schedule for the holiday season with (5) weekly flights until December 18th, then increasing to (6) weekly flights until December 25th.

In January 2023, Air Canada’s winter schedule will include (5) weekly flights until March 2023, then increase frequency to (6) weekly flights until April 2023.

With the additional non-stop flights from Air Canada, Saint Lucia will offer Canadians 20 non-stop routes from Toronto Pearson International Airport this fall/winter season.

“We are excited to welcome Air Canada back this fall with direct non-stop service from Toronto. The additional flights will provide Canadians with more viable options to explore our beautiful island,” said Lorine Charles-St. Jules, CEO of the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority.

Charles-St. Jules added that since Canada is one of Saint Lucia’s main source markets, the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority will continue to drive robust, targeted marketing and public relations efforts in Canada to increase awareness and new routes.

There is no requirement for a pre-travel test for fully vaccinated travellers to Saint Lucia. However, fully vaccinated travellers must provide a valid vaccination record. Unvaccinated travellers must have a valid negative standard COVID-19 PCR test done within five days before arrival.

Detailed information on the latest travel protocols can be found here.
